Relaxing into meditation
“Relaxation means allowing yourself to fall into a state where you are not doing anything; if you are doing something, tension will continue. It is a state of non-doing: you simply relax and you enjoy the feeling of relaxation.” OshoWe have become alienated from the felt body, we look at it from the outside as an object. This leaves the mind trying to take care of us without essential feedback from the body and cut off from its natural wisdom. We are split.
This is an opportunity for you to embrace your embodied state, to allow both mind and body to harmonize and relax as you go beyond both to the state of meditation.
Your facilitator will use gentle rocking, stretching and lifting movements, focused on the joints, to allow tension in your joints and musculature to release. This is a pleasurable experience that brings you into the here and now, where you can allow yourself to relax into the mystery of the undefined – the experience of being at one with existence.
This is meditation – this is who and what you are.

Living in the illusion of separateness allows us to enjoy the game of being in a body. But we forget that it's a game; our mind gets stuck in defense mode, reinforced by our interactions with others who have also forgotten who and what they are.The good news is that, at our deepest core, we are completely safe; no defense needed. We are untouched and untouchable – simple watchers of the dance of energy that is life.
