Staying in Pune and the Meditation Resort

Pune is often regarded as the most beautiful city in all of India, known for its perfect climate, lush vegetation and scenic landscapes. According to a Livability Index released by the Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Pune is also the most livable city in India.

This notable honor was measured by an ease of living framework that covered four areas – institutional, social, economic and physical, which were broken down into 15 categories and 78 indicators. The ranking was based on a grading of 111 major cities across the nation – three cities from Maharashtra made the top 10.

The original article discussing the rankings was published by The Times of India on Aug 13, 2018.
